It’s time to get nerdy with your personal interests! Turn your curiosity into organized knowledge. With Recall, you can save content on movies, books, people, and places, tag it, and watch connections unfold.
Movie Buff
Saves Wiki pages on movies and filmmakers, tags by genre, and discovers connections between their favorites.
How
- Quickly Save Content - Use the Wikipedia quick search to add articles on your favorite topics.
- Tag & Organize - Tag content by category, theme, or topic to keep everything structured.
- See Connections - Explore how people, places, and ideas relate to each other through Recall’s knowledge graph.
A Workflow to Create a Movie Library
Perfect for building watchlists, tracking what you’ve seen, or creating themed collections for movie nights.
Add Your Favorite Movies
- Click “Add content” in the top right corner and select “Wiki”
- Type a movie name into the search bar (e.g., “Burn After Reading”)
- You may see multiple results: scroll to find the right one and select it
- Hit save in the top right corner of the card.
Tip: Install the Recall mobile app (available on iOS and Android) so you can quickly add movie recommendations or share them with friends while you’re out and about.
Review and Summarize
- The “Reader” tab displays the full Wikipedia page for the movie
- To generate a custom summary: Navigate to the “Chat” tab, select your preferred summary type, and save it to your “Notebook” for easy reference
Tag Your Movies
A “Movies” tag should be automatically added to your card. Customize your tags to organize your library:
- Status tags:

"Movies/1990s","Movies/2000s"
Explore Connections
Now for the fun part! Click the “Connections” tab to see all the keywords and relationships Recall has extracted. Discover directors you didn’t know you favored, actors who appear across your collection, or thematic connections between your movies. You might realize you’ve saved five Coen Brothers films without even noticing.
For the Serious Movie Buff!
- Add Personal Reviews: After watching a movie, take notes in the “Notebook” on your thoughts, rating, and who you’d recommend it to.
- Share with Friends: Share Recall cards directly with friends by clicking the share icon in the top right corner to copy the link. They won’t need to sign up to view it; they’ll get the movie details AND your personal review!
- Quiz Yourself: Want to test your movie knowledge? Click the “Quiz” button to generate questions and see how well you remember the details.
